So it seems like cyclone Tauktae has brought along with it regular rains to Bangalore. While it was burning hot just about five weeks ago, now it gets quite cold and moist (and chilly).
Google continues to predict rain at 3 PM every day, even if it is at 11 in the morning, by when the rains have already started. Thanks Google. At least you're trying.
The worst part is, we've all been stuck in lockdown for the past month already, and the curfew is just compounding things. It all adds to that gloomy end-of-the-world depressive feeling :/
I think what would have been nice was some alternate rain and sunshine. Rain the entire day is so not helping my mood. Now by June/July the monsoons are actually going to start. Which means more rain this side of town. So that was three months of an exceedingly hot summer and then another three months of incessant rain. When the hell is the weather going to turn pleasant? Perhaps after these spells.
Look - all I'm asking for is a bright sunny day with a gentle cool breeze. Is that too much to ask? God?
